Then decide which of these observations are facts...

What might have happened? Put all of the evidence together and decide how you think the incident unfolded.

Remember to think about all the possibilities. There is often more than one way to explain your observations!

We can use the same processes of observation and deduction to reveal the story of creatures which lived millions of years ago.
