The cat that got the fish ...
Imagine you have just discovered this scene.
Start by making as many observations as you can about the scene.
Then decide which of these observations are facts...
- The glass bowl is broken.
- There is water on the floor.
- The window is open.
- The remains of the fish are in the cat's mouth.
What might have happened? Put all of the evidence together and decide how you think the incident unfolded.
Remember to think about all the possibilities. There is often more than one way to explain your observations!
