Life Long Learning

Visiting the Museum
The Sedgwick Museum offers many opportunities for adult learners. Our Museum staff and gallery volunteers are happy to answer any questions you have about the Museum and we offer a free identification service for rocks and fossils during Museum opening hours.

Community and special interest groups can be provided with an introductory welcome talk at the beginning of their visit with a member of our staff. These talks last about 10 minutes. For more information on how to book these, please look at our Group Visits page. Throughout the year we hold a range of events for adults including the Festival of Ideas, The Science Festival and Museums at Night. To find out about future talks and events, please visit our What’s On page.
