Celebrating our Centenary
The Sedgwick Museum was opened on 1st March 1904. This year we're celebrating our centenary and in addition to events in the Museum, we're offering two special publications on sale in the Museum Shop and online.
A Fitting Tribute: 100 Years of the Sedgwick Museum
W. Whyte, S. Daultrey and E. Hide
With generous sponsorship from Cambridge University Press, we have published a short guide to the architecture of the building and the story behind its construction. Researched and written in 2003 - 04, the book contains rare photographs previously unpublished and features a guide to the geological source of the building stones used in the Museum's construction.
